The Gospel of John (Part 1).

I love this film. It is a very heartfelt and precise reproduction of the entire gospel of John. We are all feeling the oppressive weight of these times, dragging us down. Watching this film is a refreshing reminder of how the world is supposed to be, destined to be. Come Lord Jesus!

Youngbrother,

What a wonderful way to start Sunday morning to watch this film. I have at the entrance of my front door this plaque.

John 3:16 - 3:21

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."

Jesus wants all to come to the truth of his Father and to know the truth. God loves us so much and wants none to be lost. That is the message we need to bring into this troubled world. To do the will of the Father not just with words but with our works. Love is the way not hate.

John 6:35 - 6:40

Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."

Jesus lives in us and we are to go out into the world and through our works all will know who it is that we serve. Hate will not change the world but love and compassion will through our Lord and Savior. Jesus questioned those in religious authority and they were threaten. It is still a threat to many in the churches today. They teach false doctrine and many are following and are being deceived.

God bless

I think Stephen Hanchett has been found. Somebody from his old site named "me" gave this website down:

Amen, Sandra and very beautifully said. Love is the answer because love IS Jesus.

My young brother, you have no idea (or likely you do) how much I needed this. I have only begun to watch the movie, but I wanted to express my appreciation for shifting our focus back to where it needs to be - on the Lord. It is the only way we are going to be able to sustain and prevail against the evil that is enveloping our world at a rapid pace and even deceiving His elect if that were possible.

My thoughts and prayers with lots of love to all who gather here.

Thank you for the special blessing with this post, young brother.

How amazingly awesomely GREAT is our God.

FF,
Our God is Great and wonderful but we need to be on guard against the forces that are angry because it is out there. This whole protest in California could unleash a monster that will do much damage. Here is a link warning all to what could happen.

From the link:
It is here - it is precisely here - that one must come to grips with the intractability of the divide that separates white, Religious Right conservatives from Obama's followers: Most Americans are used to thinking that almost any issue can be worked out if people will only sit down and talk; unfortunately, that is not always the case, and that is particularly true with regard to the cultural issues that separate Obama's followers from the Religious Right. Even a liberal like Ronald Dworkin believes that with regard to issues such as abortion and homosexuality, there may be no middle ground - and Americans are only kidding themselves in thinking that there is one.

FF and Sandra, I am so glad that you were refreshed by this. We do need to be close to our savior in these trying days. The devil will do whatever he can to disrupt the connection between God and his children.

As our Master comes closer and closer to arriving, the attacks against the body of Christ get more and more frequent. These attacks manifest in different forms. Sometimes they are open and direct, other times they are more subtle and persuasive. All attacks are meant to make us forget our first love. They are meant to cut us off from God before we are strong enough to work with God as He cuts off all of the wicked. I needed to watch this just as much as anyone else here needed to. We all need to remember the divine love that connects us with Christ, and to stay close to the feet of our Lord. It's the best place for us all to gather.

Your words edify and strengthen me young brother. Knowing we are in this together is a blessing beyond what I can put into mere words. but I know it is from God. Indeed, to gather at His feet with love and faithfulness is our only refuge. He is our comfort, joy and our everything. Praise His holy name and give thanks for all He has done for us and all that is to come. That the darkness will never be able to distinguish the light; this is our God and He will not abandon us.

The enemy is busy causing much strife amongst the people of America on many fronts; racially and morally. They are the masters of civil war and the agenda is being furthered here now. While many are out buying firepower, an 8 year old boy will be tried as an adult for killing his father and a border with people screaming for gun control. Everything is happening for a reason and it is to further their agenda. But, their time is getting short. I have read along the way that when they want to further the agenda abroad, they place a republican in office, and a democrat for the homefront. Certainly seems accurate.

5 million people to take part in a staged earthquake in Southern CA on November 13th; that's a lot of people:

http://www.shakeout.org/

Annon, regarding the article about AIDS, I am certain it was created as a means for population control. They care nothing about anybody and even less about the poor and defenseless. And this is the enemy we fight. As ruthless as they are, our God is yet mightier...way way way mightier, and they are pretty darn ruthless. We cannot even begin to imagine God's vengence just as we cannot begin to imagine the glory of being in His very presence. Come Lord Jesus.

Love, prayers, holy kisses and His strength and peace to all.

Greetings in love; I like coming back here and seeing the picture with people gathered around Jesus. Will there be a part 2 coming soon, I hope. Thanks again our young brother.

We should be prepared to expect anything at anytime:

Did anyone see the unusual tracking of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Paloma? After it initially hit Cuba, it went over the island and then made what the news reporter called 'spaghetti lines' (bounced all around) and hit the front of the island again as a tropical storm. It seems highly unusual to me and would like to hear if anyone has any info regarding such things.

Thanks. Keep looking up and He will give all that we need. Of this I am certain...this is why we don't have to fear. How awesome is our God, and we are going to witness just how awesome He is.

I found it funny that the person in that article kept refering to the Queen of Heaven.

Jeremiah 7:12-20
12But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

13And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;

14Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

15And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.

16Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

17Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

18The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

19Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

20Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

Again here:

Jeremiah 44
1The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,

2Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein,

3Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers.

4Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.

5But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.

6Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.

7Therefore now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain;

8In that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

9Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem?

10They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.

11Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah.

12And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.

13For I will punish them that dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:

14So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape.

15Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

16As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.

17But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

18But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.

19And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?

20Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him that answer, saying,

21The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, your kings, and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the LORD remember them, and came it not into his mind?

22So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.

23Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day.

24Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt:

25Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.

26Therefore hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth.

27Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them.

28Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or their's.

29And this shall be a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:

30Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life.

This is from wikipedia:

Queen of Heaven was a title given to a number of ancient goddesses in the ancient Mediterranean and Near East, in particular Isis, Innana and Astarte. Forms and content of worship varied. The title Queen of Heaven was later used by Christians of Mary, and at least in terms of artistic imagery, the later use drew to some extent on the former.

I doubt that any messanger from God would be praising the queen of heaven or refer to Mary as the queen of heaven.

Thank you so much for that. I had the same thoughts, but liked the article otherwise. Things have to be complete to be whole and true, and one falsity certainly voids the whole. Again, thank you for your input and especially the verses. Blessings.

I copied this from Les' site and had to share:

At some point we do come to the realization that all the "exposing" that needs to be done is done. The NWO is here and blatently in your face now-order established-mission accomplished-evil incarnate unleashed. So what to do? MY contention is there is 1(one) and only one viable option. That option is not, repeat not hiding in a cave, civil insurection, meaningless at the point and quite futile< noble as our friend NOTA would have us believe. Its way beyond that. If one does so desire, he may FREELY go down in a blaze of glory, and good on you patriot, you went down swinging. But rest assured down being the operative word here. Not being the eloquent conveyor of words, but who needs eloquence describing the demise of humanity. As complicated and complex as some would make it-it really is quite simple if you understand the spiritual context. That being God is not mocked, what a man sows he most certainly does reap. Mankind flaunted his wickedness in the face of a loving. true, and ultimately just God,,,,,,Walaaaaa, whooops!dey it is!!!!Cause and effect. Ohhh, and the 1(one) viable option? REPENT AND BELIEVE, OK,thats 2.......

Anonymous,

I see nothing in this man's writings which encourage WORSHIP of the Queen of Heaven, only that it is one symbol which is the "mouthpiece" of his locutions. If the man was Hindu he would hear Vishnu, if he was Buddhist he would hear Buddha. Being Catholic, veneration and respect for the saints, and dependence on their divine intercession is common and practiced by the rank and file. The message, to me, rings true. Truth can come in many forms and from many religious traditions.

In addition, does anyone think that the ancient myths might have been designed to "foreshadow" the redemptive work of the church? Is Mary not the mother of the Son of God? Does that not give her a special place in the economy of salvation as the vessel that carried the incarnate Son of God in her womb for 9 months, and with her husband Joseph protected him From the Beast, and cared for him until he was ready to fulfill his destiny? Sounds like a Queen to me, not that should be worshipped, but respected as a person which has special graces gviven from God to reveal her son to all humankind.

I have been watching re-runs of the Waltons and I yearn so much for the days when families and communities mattered and people stuck together through the hard times. Today it is all about what people can get and money. God in his word said we will be given what we need not what we want. The world has taken the wrong path to material wealth and it has done harm to families, communities and society. So many don't realize the wrong path they are on and are blind to what God expects of his people. God does not care about the house you live in, the car you drive or the money you make. He cares how you treat others. No matter what happens in the larger world scene stay close to those you love and help them through the days ahead. Be a part of caring within your community.

Thank God the election is over. Politics is all about seeing the speck in your brothers eye and not the log in your own. All sides did it. Politics is not of God but of man and the power to control this world. My faith will always be on Jesus and his teaching. Follow no man but the Lord and his peace will see you through the difficult times ahead.

Love to all

Excellent points, nathandave.

I can be so easily confused sometimes and I pray for strength. I so believe it is time for Elijah to be brought back to us. I would really like to believe that Michael the archangel has spoken to and warned of discernment.

Sandra, we cannot even get those feel good movies anymore; we have to watch the reruns. We have been bad for a very long time, but we have sure gotten really bad in a relatively short amount of time.

But be strong and of good courage for surely our redemption draweth near. Come Lord Jesus, come.

FF,
The Lord will see us through these difficult times. I felt your anguish and I just wanted to let you and others here know that it will always be the Lord that guides me not man or politics. Politics will not separate us FF. Politics divide people but the Lord unites all with his love and compassion. The election is over and we still need to be on guard against manipulation and lies that will come forth. Neither of the parties have a good record when it comes to deceiving the masses. I did vote but there is no way that I will worship the office of Presidency and realize that we are still in the belly of the beast but the Lord will see us through.

Be of good cheer FF. The Lord is still in control of all his people and will see us through the days ahead.

I Love you sister and know your heart just wants to make sure that we put our faith not in man but the Lord. The elect on this blog will not be deceived and your faithfulness is much appreciated.

Hey I saw about a quarter of it and needed to see it again. Its good so far but I needed to see it in another alternative perspective. I am just going through self turbulence since I will be in CA next Wedneday til December 3rd. Its difficult for me to focus and function without natural alternative to keep me going. I am not too thrilled to be back in that state or my hometown my family is but not me.

My friend and her husband really wanted to leave that state badly and I do not blame her either. Even though I ask my other friends if I can stay with them and nomad around in CA. Here is what bothers me about this.

Homeschool Rule to be outlawed

I am having a hard time and reading this article. Since CA is such a beautiful state (certain areas sans my hometown). I left it a while back and it is getting worse since promoting more NWO laws outlawing homeschooling. As a product of the public school system I know I felt lied and cheated. I talked to my now 15 year old cousin about the truth of the school system and why he needs to leave as soon as possible. I hope he makes a wise decision to receive his GED and head to college.

I decided that I wanted to do homeschooling for the RIGHT reasons of a better education rather than the NWO books being promoted via McGraw Hill.

I have found this post and I am unsure if he had posted this as well but you can probably find it in his archives...

First of all I blame young brother for sending this video at the night of my most important exam of this semester. He made me watch this video. That in itself is too bad, especially if you watch at the exam's night.

Second, I again blame him of propagating truth ! because when I watched this video I realized how much prophets are alike (though the evil always wants to convey the opposite).

Third, I blame this community of being pro-faith and pro-God which I can't emphasis it to any further extent.

Forth, I hate doing great in my exams, especially when I have watched a great movie a night ahead of it.

There is always another way to love :)

Keep the faith,
Ali.

faithful forever said...

Amen, Ali. Love will always find a way.

That movie is still in my heart and on my mind frequently. It has really helped to restore my spirit. Sometimes it lacks and we are not even aware of it.

I know for me, carrying on as normal is getting a little more challenging and nothing satisfies as much as attempting to draw closer and closer to our God in any way I can. Everything else seems so meaningless and empty - even more than before.

N - I entirely agree with you about our High Schools in this country. My state of Illinois is one of the easiest to homeschool and I am very glad for that. I feel that I would have lost my daughter if I didn't have that option. There are a lot worse things than a GED in my opinion. I wish you well my brother in your move to CA and it is wonderful to have you among us.

Tomorrow is the day when CA has its mock earthquake scenario with 5.1 million people participating. It may go off without a hitch as the election just did, but we all know what happened the last time this country was practicing drills. All we can do at this point is remain watchful and prayerful, and keep trying to spread the good news of the gospel with every chance we get.

Young Brother and Peter, I enjoyed the radio show greatly last night again and just wanted to say thank you and keep up the good work. Your words speak to my heart in such a way like no other and I love the way God connects us with one voice harmony that cannot be compared to anything else this world has to offer. Our God reigns.

Love makes the world go 'round; not money like we have been told for so many years.

Ali,
It was a great movie. I could actually follow along with John in the Bible because they kept so close to it. Sounds like you did good on your exam so that is great.

N and FF,
Thanks for the links on the article Stephen wrote. It was inspiring and it does it looks like he moved on. Just wish he could have let us know. I really thought this was so true:

Paragraph from Stephen's writing:

"the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world." (John 17:14)
Of course, Jesus wasn't only talking about gays and lesbians when he warned that the world would hate us; though he was explaining how the world tends to hate those who are truly different. He wanted all of his followers to be different - not so that they could be persecuted, but so that they could help to change the world. The world cannot change itself, and it follows that people who conform to the ways of the world cannot thereby change the world. Adapting and working within the system was not something that Jesus advocated, since that really meant becoming as corrupt and hypocritical as the world itself. Jesus knew that only people who practiced a much different lifestyle could significantly change things; though the same thing that makes someone very different and able to change the world, also makes them hated."

I would add that once those that are different have passed on than praise comes to them for being different. That way they are not a threat but an ideal that normal people can not achieve but only admire and go on with their normal life.

Peter and Youngbrother,
I also listened to the radio show and enjoyed it. One of the issues that struck a cord with me was how you were talking about John Kerry being of Skull and Bones. I remember finding out about it before the election and decided I could not vote in the election and opted out. I was also glad you cautioned people to but their hope and faith in the right place which is in the Lord not a leader.

Love to all

Oh Sandra, you are such a blessing. Different in the way that I would rather my Lord see me praying on my knees next to my bedside than in a church filled with people - not that I couldn't pray there also, but that I only desire His approval and fret not over the judgement of people but only His.

The associate pastor where I work told me that it was a 'cop out' that I no longer attend church. I did not mention our community of faith that I am blessed with for I knew he would not understand, or worse yet, mock it. I would not give him that opportunity. I will ask him though when the time is right what he thinks Jesus meant by 'tear down this temple and I will rebuild it in three days.'

I thank God for setting us apart and making us different.

Love and His peace to all.

Sandra said...

I should proof read more before I comment but I missed some:
"put faith" in last sentence and in the comment to N and FF it should read: it "looks like he moved on."

FF,
You keep me focused on the real purpose we are here and that is the Lord not man. I also agree we are to go to our Father in secret and not display it to make ourself look righteous. Only his approval not mans approval. In my humble opinion it was the associate pastor who sold out to the larger society. We are to discern who we talk to because they can discourage our walk and as Jesus said "don't give that which is holy to dogs." They will trample it. The Lord will let us know who is ripe for the message.

God Bless and Love to all.

young brother said...

First of all, reading through these comments brought tears to my eyes. Praise the Lord! What a joy that we are all impacted in relatively the same way by the powerful testimony of Jesus Christ.

FF and Sandra, I'm glad you were listening to our radio show, and glad that you were enriched by it. Peter and I really enjoyed making the broadcast. We both felt The Spirit there.

In other news, I'm in the middle of making a change in my vocation...this has been a long time coming, and I'm very excited to be going back to a job that is more suitable. We all yearn in painfulness for the seed of God's kingdom in our hearts to be manifested in the earth at large. It literally hurts at times, FF spoke of that. Patience and Faith is required of the saints, but it's nice to rest assured that God's justice will be served, in His timing, with His style...it will not be delayed.

Amen Young Brother, and it will be perfect just as are ALL His ways.

It does literally hurt at times and has been more so lately, but I think it is as you have said, the Lord's day drawing closer.

The Spirit was with you guys last night; as He always is, but last night it was really shining.

I am very glad the Lord has opened this path for your change in vocation. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness.

I have had a few of those tears here myself today and am humbled by the blessings that come from our Lord through His people.

...it will not be delayed and will come at the appointed time. Amen. Come Lord Jesus, come for all your creation is groaning.

FF,

Sorry for being vague and to clarify, I will be in CA about 2 weeks trying to nomad around and crashing at friends places. Just be there since my Aunt would be around for her 40th birthday and to see my friends... but I am checking out other places around 2009 in Portland, Seattle, and Durham so far and I talked to friends here if they know anyone who can help me out. I know I am not the type of person who would commute to and from work. Otherwise I love to travel but I have this terrible wanderlust.

FF I am very glad you have given your daughter a gift of a better education. I am glad illinois still recognizes homeschooling as a viable option. Yes there are far worse things than a GED. Met a few brothers different times. One of them dropped out in 9th grade long time ago no GED and trying to get back to NC. Kind of down on the luck with no directions. Another one I met at the concert in Atlanta and he assisted me out with parts of my "propaganda video" for my project dropped out form school but received his GED. He is very smart and reads good books. Both of them I gave them my issues about the school system as well.

About CA and its earthquakes I would not be surprised if they would set up the earthquakes via bombs and certain technologies that can create vibrational earthquakes. Just like creating Tsunamis.

Finally turned in my name change application it will be the same name but shortened. Just have to call the newspaper company and set a court date.

YB I am glad you are on changing the pasture and scenery. I hope this new job would be what you wanted. Will talk to you later on...

That quote from stephen really touched me in multiple levels. I might want to start on my own blogging soon.

I just had a very nice day that gave me hope in people. About a month ago I received a $250 dollar check from my Native Organization for having paperwork in on my will. They encourage all to do this. To encourage more participation they draw names out of a hat on all who have a will on file and give out $250 every quarter to the lucky name. I never win anything and never get involved in any form of gambling so was surprised when I received this check. A very dear friend of mine called me the same day and was having a crisis and needed to borrow money if I had it. I did because of my name being chosen. I felt I was given this money to help her out so I did tell her that I would be able to help her. She promised to pay me back in a month. Everyone scolded me for doing it saying she would not pay me back but I told them "well I guess we will wait and see." Today the exact day she said she would pay me back she came to give it to me. She is very much a Christian and even though she does not go to church we have many good conversations about our role in society. She works at the homeless shelter on the reservation.

I am so glad I put my trust in the Lord and believed her instead of the negative vibes of people. It is only money. If we are not here to help those in need and are here only for our own selfish pursuits I think in my humble opinion we are missing the mark. I figured if she did not pay me back it is money that I was not expecting anyway so I was just going to let it go and not have it ruin our friendship. She did keep her word and I am pleased that she proved all of them wrong. I will not let her know what people told me because she would be hurt and she does not deserve that.

I just wanted to give a uplifting message of trusting the Lord and his people.

God Bless
