I wonder if people here are familiar with the prophecies of Siener Van Rensburg?

Among his startling prophecies was the death of Lady Diana, the Chernobyl Disaster, the release of Nelson Mandela from prison and the end of white rule in South Africa. He forsaw the AIDS epidemic as a result of immorality.

Of his homeland, South Africa, he foresaw the period from 1960 to 1994 when the South African government began to lose control of the situation on its own soil. From 1994 till the present he prophesied the false and violent peace of ANC rule which will continue until the death of Nelson Mandela.

As soon as Mandela dies, there will be a revolt and a civil war in 3 of the 7 provinces of South Africa. My current speculation is that Julius Malema will eventually be disciplined by the ANC leadership and, in response, lead his followers in the ANC Youth League in a rebellion against the party.

Van Rensburg, predicts the conflict will be brief and the rebellion smashed in the border town of Prieska. After this a new and balanced government will emerge and will rule until the Second Coming.

Hey Balor...nice to have you join us. I am not familiar with any of that but thanks for sharing it. You always did usually bring a radical perspective and good to see some things don't change!

I know I love the idea for a new and balanced world.

Authorities are eluding to the protesters' days being numbered.

Time will tell all things but we know this at least, that something is upon us and possibly approaching more quickly than ever before.

Love and peace in His name.

A Berean Blessing:

Galatians 5:22
(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
New King James Version

Joy that is a fruit of God's Spirit has its roots in the realization of God's purpose and its outworking that transforms us into His image. Biblical joy begins when God calls, and we hear the gospel, understand, and believe it.

Biblical joy is bound up in our relationship with Him and our understanding of what is happening to our minds. We walk to the beat of a different drummer than this world because we understand God's overall purpose. We know we have been forgiven and have a place in His purpose because we now have His Spirit. No more life-changing experience can ever happen to a human than when God calls and understanding dawns. It forever alters our perspective on life itself and on the things we formerly trusted to give us satisfaction.

Henceforth our joys must arise from yielding to fulfill God's great creative purpose and seeing it accomplished. This is why we were born! Because of this, we can look forward to hearing Him say:

Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. (Matthew 25:21)

John W. Ritenbaugh

Amen!

Hi Balor....I have not heard of these prophesies but did goggle to find out a little more on them. Thanks for posting.

On another matter the Wall Street protests are growing. From one website I go to a retired decorated Marine with 15 of his fellow buddies was headed to Wall Street in full uniform to protect the protestors. He said he did not serve his country to protect corporations but the people. People are getting feed up. Something is happening in this movement and it is exciting:

We have to keep them in our prayers. I believe they might be infiltrated to put a bad spin on the movement. I do not trust the elite and believe they will try and manipulate the media. To be honest I think the main stream news are stupid. Below is a link to a group that I have been following for the last few years and they send me updates regularly. My prayer is for the protest to remain non-violent and not to stirred by the elite to act out in violence.

We are the 99%. What a great slogan. The elite would do well to understand that they make up the 1%.

The elites will infiltrate. Doesn't matter because this is a true decentralized movement. Like the anonymous movement, it is directed by ideas not a hierarchy. The ideas are broad reaching; economic justice, ecological justice, political reform, peace, etc. In the end, people may get to the point where they simply do not show up to work. Imagine massive strikes all over the country and the world. The 1% will have no choice but to change or get the hell out of the way. This is the eternal fire Jesus spoke of. They will wail and gnash their teeth, and rent their garments as their power is taken from them.

I am the 99%.

I am the 99%.

A time like no other is well upon us and I rejoice in all His ways. I am not quite so sure this is the eternal fire Jesus speaks about, but time will tell. This definitely seems to be for the people and by the people, but we have been fooled many times and we know that the powers that be are going to create chaos so people will accept their order. I am cautiously optimistic but a little reserved as well. After all, there are politicians saying we need more of this and what politician is trustworthy?

One sign I seen made by one of the 99 percenters said, "Until you wake up, I will fight for you."

I know my heart is with them and I really want to join them. Chicago and LA are starting to gather as well.

Greece confirms it will miss deficit targets, and this is really bad news for the American Stock Market. They are going to take down the world economies, and soon they way it sounds:

This is the movement for change. It comes from "we the people" not with any one leader. Obama said "we are the change we were waiting for" and it is happening. God will always be with the least among us. Leaders always disappoint us but if we only follow the guiding spirit within we will be guided on our path to bring love and compassion to a hurting world. To stand up for the weak and powerless.

FF I see why you are waiting. It is wise to look at all things objectively.

The Beatitudes represent the core of Jesus' Word. When I say eternal fire, that is what I mean: his idea that the Kingdom of God would come and completely overturn the kingdoms of this world through the power of its ideas. I do not doubt that there will be other fires, and punishments for the ungodly, but the Beatitudes of Jesus have never before been official policy of any human institution, except for the New Testament Church, and even then only for a short time. We may be living during the time when they finally are practiced in human society at large.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Gospel of St. Matthew 5:3-10

Many grassroots like Troy Davis supporters, 911 Responders, foreclosure families, 911 truthers, those who have nothing left to lose and those who want justice and equality; an end to this system of things of greed and corruption. It is an exciting movement if it is indeed legit.

I am cautious because look at the Egyptian uprising. That was our government and Israel backing those protestors to overthrow Mubarak for more imperial control and for more 'stability' in the region. At first glance it appeared to be a good thing springing up from the Arab Spring, but it is government controlled opposition. I know Jesus would never condemn those for taking up their cross in support of the oppressed.

I seen the other day that some politicians are calling the protestors "Marxists" and that is an indication that they really do view them as an enemy. If they view them as the enemy, rather than supporting them like they have the Egyptian protestors.

Chicago News reported Obama has finally made a statement about the growing protests:

BANKS AND BANKING

"The American people realize that not everybody has been following the rules. … these days a lot of the folks who are doing the right thing aren't rewarded and a lot of the people who are not doing the right thing are being rewarded. … That's going to express itself in 2012 and beyond."

Here's is one of my favorite quotes and it is even more relevant today than years ago when I first read it; author unkown to me:

We the little people have done so much with so little for so long, that we can now do anything with nothing.

The Greek protesters are crippling Greece and Spainairds are out in droves protesting their austerity measures. New reports are surfacing of Israel's new push for war on Iran before the American presidential election in 2012. That is one of the most ridiculous reasons for war if there was even a good one, but the twistedness of that reasoning shows the depth of depravity of that which we fight against.

1 John 4:5-6 KJV
5 They are of the world; therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Amen.

How good and faithful is our God to those who love Him. Praise Him for all His ways.

Matthew 25: 34 - 40

Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.' They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

FF there is nothing wrong with questioning Obama's legitimacy if it is at all in question. However, I think Sandra and I smell a rat, that this may be a disinformation site. I cannot say for sure, but occupy is about corporate illegitmacy, and that is something we can all agree with.

Corporations can be taken down tomorrow. Their very existence depends upon the American people, since they were chartered here. There are no constitutional guarantees for their existence. We can legally amend their charters now if we could get out elected leaders to do so. It would be easy. Maybe its time to do so.

A pause giving time for thought was the truly courteous way of beginning and conducting a conversation. Silence was meaningful with the Lakota, and his granting a space of silence to the speech-maker and his own moment of silence before talking was done in the practice of true politeness and regard for the rule that "thought comes before speech.

There is a road in the hearts of all of us, hidden and seldom traveled, which leads to an unkown, secret place. The old people came literally to love the soil, and they sat or reclined on the ground with a feeling of being close to a mothering power. Their teepees were built upon the earth and their altars were made of earth. The soul was soothing, strengthening, cleansing and healing. That is why the old Indian still sits upon the earth instead of propping himself up and away from its life giving forces. For him, to sit or lie upon the ground is to be able to think more deeply and to feel more keenly. He can see more clearly into the mysteries of life and come closer in kinship to other lives about him.

Your welcome Sandra. Thank you, and FF, for your wonderful witness.

Great article. Occupy Denver has moved to recognize an Indigenous Platform. Boston has as well, but it is not as specific.

FF,
Sorry I did not read your post earlier. We are all in this together and something just did not feel right with that link. I am glad you did more research on the 11/11/11 march. It is easy to be fooled at times and it has happened to me more that once.

Blessings and love my sister♥

Awesome quote form occupy wall street:

Communism failed absolutely. But the problems of the commons are here. They are telling you we are not Americans here. But the conservative fundamentalists who claim they are really American have to be reminded of something. What is Christianity? It’s the Holy Spirit. What’s the Holy Spirit? It’s an egalitarian community of believers who are linked by love for each other. And who only have their own freedom and responsibility to do it. In this sense the Holy Spirit is here now. And down there on Wall Street there are pagans who are worshipping blasphemous idols. So all we need is patience. The only thing I’m afraid of is that we will someday just go home and then we will meet once a year, drinking beer, and nostalgically remembering what a nice time we had here. Promise ourselves that this will not be the case.

Interesting study on the 1%, or really the .01 %

http://sociology.ucsc.edu/whorulesamerica/power/wealth.html

I am coming to the conclusion that the American ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness were used by Jefferson and our other founding fathers during the revolution in order to inspire the masses to help them overthrow the King of England, and if they won, they had no intention of following through on its promise. They had no intention of creating a country where everyone was free to be happy, after all Jefferson and Washington had slaves, and the wars of conquest against the indigenous Americans was on. Women were denied their rights as well. However, you cannot sell a revolution without high-minded rhetoric. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Problem is, the genie got out of the bottle. They did not intend to advertise the liberation of humanity from tyranny, but it happened anyway. They did not intend to advertise that all are created equal in the eyes of their creator. The meme of freedom was broadcast by them, and it has taken 200 years, but now it is an idea whose time has come. The earth is shaking in anticipation.

The Psalmist tells us the Lord hears the cry of the poor. We are all the poor, since .01% of us own pretty much everything, including US, the people. We are owned. And democracy, or the plutocracy created by our founding fathers, which was meant to allow the founders to be free to live in happiness on the backs of our labor and sweat, is showing us its true face. I always wondered why these guys were Masons, if they believed in freedom for all men, and I finally realized that they only believed in freedom for SOME MEN, specifically THEM. WE were never part of the the discussion. Certainly Native people were never considered, and African slaves, and women. Nor my ancestors who immigrated from Ireland and Italy to be worker drones in their factories.

However, like the children of Israel in Egypt, our populations have grown to large to handle. Pharaoh is nervous, and is instructing the midwives to kill the newborn sons. They look to China as a model, a place where crony capitalism can exist with authoritarian rule. They now believe the charade of freedom which they have maintained for over 200 years, is not longer necessary. However, the Word will not return to the Lord void. It has gone forth, and will achieve its purpose.

Stay blessed and keep looking up.

Romans 5:1-5 (KJV)

1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Amen. How great is our God.
