Heaven. Can we really imagine heaven and what it is like. There are those people who claim to have had a glimpse of heaven after a near death experience and after this glimpse, they do not want to return to this life in the physical realm. They talk of colors so vivid and never seen before, a peace so pure and complete they have never known, and sounds so beautiful they cannot describe. They talk about a feeling of love so encompassing and a feeling of being at home.
I cannot say if their stories are real or imaginations. I do know that heaven exists and God has promised us when His kingdom comes, His will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven. He has promised us there will be a day of rest; a thousand years of peace on earth.
Peace on earth. Right now there is no peace on earth other than what the gracious Lord has bestowed on His people. The world is full of lawlessness, hatred, war, corruption and greed - everything that is in opposition to the greatest gift of all: love.
I like to try to imagine what heaven on earth will be like. I know it will be filled with love. I know love is patient and kind, it is not boastful or selfish, it is not hurtful. God tells us there will be no more tears. We will know only joy. Knowing there is a better day to come, fills me with renewed happiness every day because with each and every day that passes, brings us one more day closer to the great and awful day of our Lord Jesus Christ when He brings righteous judgment upon the whole world.
There will be no place to hide for the evil ones, and those who belong to Him will be rejoicing and singing a new song.
Come Lord Jesus, come quickly. Your bride awaits the wedding feast with patience and longing. Everything good is well worth the wait.

Annon! It has been way way too long. I am staying blessed and looking up with you still and forever my brother. Yes, singing a new song and what a glorious song that will be. I yearn and moan and groan with all that I am for that day. In the meantime it sure is amazing watching it all unfold.

I just wanted to stop in and see if anyone on here has listened to the Shepherds Chapel.The Pastor that preaches on there(Pastor Murray)goes over a lot of scripture and is very wise. If you haven't heard him, he comes on the PRAYR channel( if you don't have the prayer channel you can find Shepherds chapel on youtube. Hope this is a blessing to anyone who watches it.

I found Pastor Murray on youtube as you suggested and really enjoyed listening to him. I might not see everything the same way, but definitely agreed with more of what he said than not and that is always a good thing that doesn't happen frequently for me. Thanks for sharing. And thanks for stopping in. As you can see, there is not much discussion taking place, but the light is still on and it is a blessing to hear you.
